Smart Glasses in Court; More Death Suits
by Grant Morgan

Google unveiled a suite of advanced AI tech this week, including plans to start selling smart glasses in the fall. Smart glasses — AI-powered versions of normal glasses that can talk to you, play music, and take photos and videos — are rapidly getting popular, with one metric showing sales tripling year-over-year in 2025.
Smart glasses have implications for the courtroom due to their ability to record. In Philadelphia, a recent court order bars the technology outright, while other jurisdictions are grappling with how to update recording laws.
